The Traffic Ticket Guru is one of Western Canada’s largest traffic ticket defence firms, helping private motorists and commercial drivers protect their driving records, licences and livelihoods.
Founded by Brian Livingston, the firm draws on his 23 years of experience in law enforcement, traffic ticket defence and prosecution. Today, our team includes former traffic officers and prosecutors, retired RCMP members and experienced court agents working across Alberta, British Columbia, Saskatchewan and Manitoba.
Our experience on both sides of traffic enforcement gives us a practical understanding of how tickets are issued, prosecuted and challenged. We carefully review disclosure, examine how evidence was collected and documented, and identify procedural or technical issues that may affect the case.
Our agents work together using a coordinated digital system for case files, communication and court deadlines. This allows us to provide consistent support across Western Canada while giving every case the attention it requires.

Married 22 years and a father of three, Jeremy brings 18 years of law enforcement experience spanning Sheriff, Highway Patrol Officer, Community Peace Officer, and more. Former lidar/radar instructor and traffic prosecutor.
Retired RCMP officer with 27 years of experience, including four years full-time on Highway Patrol traffic. Also served five years as a Transit Peace Officer for the City of Edmonton and as a Provincial Traffic Crown Prosecutor.
A Professional Court Agent with 17 years across Western Canada, certified as a Radar/Lidar Instructor, Traffic Law Instructor, and Collision Investigator. Dean handles Southern Alberta and out-of-province matters through Provincial Tickets Resolutions Corporation.
